Couples
You both remember how it began - the ease, the connection, the feeling of being truly seen. But something has shifted. One of you might feel alone or misunderstood, the other unsure how to fix what’s changed.
You’ve both tried in your own ways, but the same patterns keep showing up. There’s still love - but also distance and doubt. Therapy can help you slow down, reconnect, and begin to make sense of what’s really going on and why.
These are the different stages of love, and you might recognize yourself in one of them. Each one opens the door to a different kind of therapeutic exploration.

Forming and Committing to a New Relationship
01
This stage describes individuals who are single and seeking meaningful connections. This stage encompasses both forming a new relationship and deepening that connection through commitment, such as moving in together or making long-term plans. It involves building emotional intimacy and trust, while also navigating the transition to a more serious, committed partnership.
What to Expect
- Therapy helps you navigate the excitement and uncertainty of new relationships, while also addressing the challenges that come with deepening commitment.
- We’ll work on establishing strong communication habits, addressing fears or insecurities, and ensuring both partners feel secure and supported as the relationship evolves.
Established Relationship Stages
This stage encompasses long-term, committed relationships where partners have already formed a deep bond, but may now be navigating the complexities of life together. As time progresses, relationships can experience various challenges such as recurring conflicts, life transitions, or feelings of disillusionment. Partners may also face significant events like betrayal or major life changes, which test the resilience of their relationship.
What to Expect
- Therapy during this stage focuses on maintaining and strengthening the connection between partners.
- I help couples work through common challenges such as communication issues, power struggles, or emotional disconnect.
- We’ll explore tools to resolve conflicts, adapt to life transitions, and rekindle intimacy when needed.
-Whether it’s managing stress from external circumstances or simply restoring emotional closeness, the goal is to foster a healthier, more resilient relationship that can continue to grow and thrive over time.
